At Priority Football, we are passionate about developing players of all ages and abilities. We are always looking for enthusiastic and dedicated coaches to join our team. Below are the roles we offer:

Priority Coach

An entry-level role for those with no prior coaching experience. As a Priority Coach, you’ll assist in football sessions, learn our coaching methodology, and gain hands-on experience with players. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced coaches and have the opportunity to develop your skills across different age groups.

Support Coach

Ideal for those new to coaching but eager to learn. Support Coaches assist in sessions, help run drills, manage player engagement, and support Lead or Head Coaches. This role focuses on building confidence and practical coaching experience as you grow into more responsibility.

Lead Coach

Lead Coaches are confident leading groups of players within a specific age range. You will plan and deliver sessions, manage player behaviour, and ensure session objectives are met. You’ll also support the Head Coach in session design and may mentor Support Coaches as they develop.

Head Coach

Our most experienced coaches. Head Coaches lead sessions across all age groups, develop other coaches, and ensure high standards in every activity. You are the primary point of contact for coaching operations, responsible for planning, delivery, and fostering a professional, positive environment for players and staff alike.

After submitting the form below, we’ll be in touch to arrange an informal chat (by phone or in person). Next, we’ll organise a trial session or observation, and carry out DBS and reference checks – we’ll guide and support you through every step. If we’re the right fit for each other, we’ll move forward with onboarding, training, and your first session!

No, while beneficial, we welcome keen individuals and can support you to gain qualifications.

When are sessions held?

Mainly evenings, weekend mornings, and during holidays (for football and multi-sport camps).

Where are the sessions?

At various venues around Nailsea, Backwell, and Portishead.

What’s the time commitment?

You can commit to as much or as little as fits your schedule!
